Join the Economic Innovation Group on Tuesday, December 14, to learn about how residents are helping to revitalize their town’s Main Street through Opportunity Zones (OZ) investments.
The Government Accountability Office’s latest report on OZs notes that the policy has activated new sources of capital from investors who otherwise may not have considered investing locally. The OZ policy was designed with appropriate flexibility that allows for investments in both real estate and operating businesses, making it an optimal financing tool for Main Street revitalization efforts. Leaders in small towns and rural communities have recognized this opportunity to maximize OZ designations and activate local investment, and are now seeing the positive impact of their work to guide OZ investment in locally-owned businesses and Main Street storefronts.
During this webinar, guest speakers will share details on their community’s local investment strategies, describe the positive outcomes driven by OZ financing, and provide insights for replicating similar efforts.
Join us December 14, 2021, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET
