The Economic Innovation Group, which was established earlier this year, has hired four new staffers. Amanda Byrd has been named as the manager for public affairs. She previously worked at Spectrum and 463 Communications. Kenan Fikri joins as manager for research and policy development, coming from the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program. Jessica Guzik, a National Journal alum, will serve as the group’s manager for strategic partnerships and events. Former Treasury Department official Elizabeth Hipple will become manager for government affairs.
