It’s all very preliminary, but a group that includes Silicon Valley superstars and policy wonks from across the political spectrum has ambitious plans to lure big capital to the country’s most battered neighborhoods, including some in Milwaukee.
Launched this year with the backing of billionaire Facebook figure Sean Parker and noted angel investor Ron Conway, the Economic Innovation Group is just beginning to make its presence felt in Washington.
