Event Overview

The results of a new survey of Millennials conducted by EIG and EY painted a complex picture of a generation convinced the economy is failing them, one that is willing to work hard to better their lot, and one that is very uncertain about what comes next.

On October 17th, EIG, EY, and the Georgetown Institute of Politics (IoP) gathered to host “The Millennial Mindset: Millennials, the Economy, and What It Means for 2016.” The panel, introduced by IoP’s Mo Elleithee, was moderated by the Independent Journal Review’s Michelle Jaconi, and featured EIG’s Steve Glickman, EY’s Cathy Koch, Definers’ Tim Miller, and former Bernie Sanders spokesperson Symone Sanders. Panelists discussed the results of EIG and EY’s recent poll on Millennials and the economy in the context of 2016 presidential elections.
