Join the Economic Innovation Group on Tuesday, November 16, to learn about Opportunity Zones (OZ) activities that have occurred in the communities where investment is most needed.
The OZ policy has increased access to capital for a wide array of uses in eligible low-income communities. More than half of the country’s concentrated persistent poverty census tracts were selected by governors for the OZ designation, and approximately 70 percent of all OZ census tracts qualify as severely distressed. While there is no official registry of OZ investments, efforts to map this activity demonstrate that financing has been deployed broadly throughout the nation and into the deepest pockets of capital-starved communities.
During this webinar, guest speakers will share details on OZ investments that have occurred in some of the highest-need census tracts in the nation, and provide insights on how to drive much needed investment to these communities.
Join us November 16, 2021, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET
