The Economic Innovation Group (EIG), with support from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, released a report on September 15 that explores the environmental conditions faced by children growing up in some of the nation’s most distressed communities. Advancing education and child development in Opportunity Zones examines the needs of children in Opportunity Zones (OZ) and how the bipartisan community investment tool can be leveraged to support schools, childcare centers, and businesses focused on improving life outcomes for children.

EIG will host a webinar on September 29 during which speakers from the RBH Group, DreamHouse ‘Ewa Beach, Pathways, EPT Holdings LLC, and YWCA USA will share insights on the needs of children in OZs, and provide details on the investment-ready projects featured in the report.
