Advisory Group Will Aid EIG Efforts to Forge a More Dynamic American Economy

Washington, D.C. – The Economic Innovation Group (EIG) today announced the formation of a new Policy Council, an external advisory group comprised of leading experts and practitioners with deep public and private sector experience related to economic development, entrepreneurship, and public policy.

The Policy Council is comprised of Chris Camacho, President and CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council; Sarah Chamberlain, President of the Republican Main Street Partnership; Debbie Cox Bultan, Executive Director of NewDEAL (Developing Exceptional American Leaders); John Dearie, Acting CEO of the Financial Services Forum; Adrian Fenty, former Mayor of Washington D.C., Special Advisor to Andreessen Horowitz, and Business Development Manager at Perkins Coie; John Fernandez, former head of the U.S. Economic Development Administration and former Mayor of Bloomington, Indiana, and U.S. Chief Innovation Officer at Dentons; Donna Harris, Cofounder of 1776, Founding Member of K Street Capital and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Georgetown University; Ian Hathaway, Manager of Frontier Economics, Adjunct Professor at New York University and Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution; Jimmy Kemp, President of the Jack Kemp Foundation; Ron Klain, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Revolution; and Andrew Yang, Founder and CEO of Venture for America.
