
Thomas Cronin
Research Assistant
Thomas Cronin is a Research Assistant at EIG specializing in empirical analysis of economic mobility, persistent poverty, affordable housing, and labor policies. Prior to joining EIG, Thomas was a Research Analyst at the American Enterprise Institute’s Housing Center, and has held research positions at the Manhattan Institute, AEI’s Center on Opportunity and Social Mobility, the Global Research Institute, and the William & Mary’s Economics and Public Policy departments. His research on poverty alleviation and welfare program analysis has been published by think tanks and media outlets including AEI, the Manhattan Institute, City Journal, and Foreign Policy. Thomas holds a Master’s in Public Policy Analysis and a Bachelor’s in Economics, both from William & Mary.
