EIG’s Catherine Lyons and Rachel Reilly led the webinar, walking participants through the basics of Opportunity Zones, regulatory actions from Department of the Treasury, and the landscape of Opportunity Zones across the nation. Alex Flachsbart of Opportunity Alabama and Peter Truog of The Opportunity Exchange joined the call to help outline how communities with impactful projects can get connected with investors looking to make a difference.
This webinar was the first in a series that will be hosted by EIG throughout 2019. These webinars will focus on a variety of topics and showcase best practices from around the country, and will serve as a resource for investors, project sponsors, and community developers looking to use the incentive.
