Chandler ranked the best city to buy a home big enough to raise a family, according to an October 2017 data analysis from SmartAsset. Gilbert came in No. 3 with Scottsdale following at No. 8. The same three cities also ranked among the top 10 most prosperous U.S. cities, according to a 2017 report from the Economic Innovation Group.
