We’re No. 4. But Toledoans have reason to fear, not cheer, this rating.

A new study ranks Toledo fourth among America’s 100 largest cities in its high level of economic distress. The dreary distinction suggests that long after most of the rest of the country has recovered from the Great Recession — and  wealthy communities, in this region and across the nation,  have gotten richer — our city continues to suffer and struggle. No surprise there, sadly.
