Gilbert is the most prosperous city in America. That’s according to a new analysis from the Economic Innovation Group that highlighted the widening economic gap across the U.S. The EIG’s Distressed Communities Index tracked data from over 26,000 ZIP codes and sorted cities, counties, and congressional districts into tiers based on their economic well-being: prosperous, comfortable, mid-tier, at risk, and distressed.
