Palm Beach County is one of the least “economically distressed” counties in Florida, according to a report card by the Economic Innovation Group. The organization’s Distressed Communities Index looked at factors such as education, income and housing vacancy. Palm Beach County fared slightly better than the national average in the percentage of residents with a high school diploma, and also above average in income.
