Joanne Kim

Research and Policy Analyst

Joanne Kim is a Research and Policy Analyst at EIG. Prior to joining EIG, she was a Senior Research Assistant at Brookings Metro where she conducted research and analysis on economic geography, inclusive economic development, and place-based policies. Previously, she also interned with the Income and Poverty Trends team at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and worked at the World Bank Group as a research assistant, advancing the sharing of best green growth practices. She holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC Berkeley.
